Kenny Ploen Foundation Fund

Ken Ploen made Winnipeg his home after a storied 11-year career with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. His children all grew up in Winnipeg and sports was a big part of their family life.

The Kenny Ploen Foundation will support amateur sports in Manitoba to allow future generations to experience and learn through sport. Ken was a leader and his Foundation will promote the development of leadership skills in schools, the community and of course, in sports. The Foundation is a lasting legacy that will give back to the community for the benefit of future generations.

Gifts to the Kenny Ploen Foundation will be permanently endowed at The Winnipeg Foundation and the income earned from this endowment will be distributed annually as grants to community agencies.
