William Chub wanted to support Winnipeg and a Cause he cared about so he established this endowment fund to provide lasting support for the performing arts. William’s first involvement with the arts was through the Portage Little Theatre in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba. His participation with the theatre grew and he eventually became an actor and director for several plays. William’s love of the arts will live on through his fund. This fund will support the changing needs and emerging opportunities in our city through The Winnipeg Foundation’s responsive Community Grants.
Your gift will be pooled and invested with a portion of the generated income distributed as grants to local registered charities working in the area of performing arts. As the original gift remains invested, your contribution will continue to benefit the people of Winnipeg in perpetuity.
