Grants from this fund are made to registered Canadian charities in the areas of Jack and Rea's long term interests in arts, culture and education; their love of Riding Mountain National Park, where they spent summers as a family; the environment; Rea’s interest in women, youth and children; and Jack's work with Indigenous peoples.
Rea Nesbitt passed away in June, 2025 after a long, active and fulfilling life of being active in the community, surrounded by the love of her family. All gifts to this fund will be pooled and invested with the generated income distributed as grants to local registered charities. As the original gift remains invested, your contribution will continue to benefit our community in perpetuity.
