In Larry's memory, the Larry Marquardson Memorial Basketball Award will support a female basketball player in Winnipeg who exemplifies Larry’s values of hard work, sportsmanship, and community spirit. This annual student award will aim to empower young women to pursue their basketball dreams while continuing Larry’s legacy of inspiring excellence both on and off the court.

Gifts to the Larry Marquardson Memorial Basketball Award Fund will be held until the family determines how the student award will be managed.
