Wildfires are having a devastating impact across our province. More than 21,000 Manitobans have been evacuated, and many communities are on high alert as Manitoba is in a state of emergency.
The Winnipeg Foundationis committed to supporting the immediate needs of communities and organizations, the well-being of evacuees and relief workers, and long-term recovery.
The Winnipeg Foundation has established and committed an initial $300,000 to the 2025 Manitoba Wildfire Response Fund allowing us to quickly direct funds to organizations who need it most to help Manitobans displaced by the fires.
Gifts to this fund will flow directly to charitable organizations helping with relief and recovery efforts through The Winnipeg Foundation’s 2025 Manitoba Wildfire Response Grants.
